SERVINGS: 6 PREPARATION: 15 MINUTES, PLUS 30 MINUTES OF REFRIGERATION

COOKING TIME: 6 MINUTES

METHOD

Place the minced meat in a bowl with the onion. add the parsley, salt and pepper and the tabasco and mix lightly with your hands until everything is combined.

With wet hands, divide the mixture into evenly sized pieces and roll each into six large balls. Lightly flatten the balls to form a hamburger. Ideally, refrigerate burgers for at least 30 minutes before grilling them. This will allow the meat to firm up and help it stay together when cooking.

Line the drip pan with foil and preheat the grill for about five minutes before cooking, or light the barbecue. Brush one side of the burgers with oil. place them, oiled side down, on the grill and brush the top with oil.

Grill about 10 cm from the heat for about 2 to 3 minutes per side for rare burgers, 4 to 5 minutes for half-cooked and 6 minutes for well-done.

Serve in a hamburger bun with a side salad, toppings and relish if desired.
